I am interested in human movement. I study the biomechanics and motor control of human locomotion, musculoskeletal function and adaptation to various interventions and conditions. In particular human walking (healthy and clinical aspects) and knee joint function after anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) injury has inspired my research. I mainly use biomechanics, motion capture, muscle strength measurement and electromyography to investigate my research questions.

I am affliliated with the Parker Institute, Bispebjerg-Frederiksberg Hospital, Copenhagen, Denmark and I am Vice Head of Studies for Biomedical Engineering (Medicine and Technology) - a collaborative education program between the Technical University of Denmark, DTU and the Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences, UCPH (SUND).
