N2 - Ribonucleosides, chlorobis(amino)phosphines and thiols react via phosphorothioamidites to form phosphorothioites. Oxidation with sulphur gives ribonucleoside phosphorodithioate triesters which after deprotection yields the phosphorodithioate ribonucleoside analogues.
