A new collaborative project between UCPH SUND and the company PreCure entitled “Anvendelse af biofeedback og machine learning til forebyggelse af arbejdsrelateret muskuloskeletale skader” shall provide new knowledge on the prevention, development and treatment of musculoskeletal disorders. From the Department of Biomedical Sciences, Associate professors Jørgen Kanters and Tine Alkjær are part of the project and Jonas L. Isaksen, who has previously been a student at the Department, has recently been employed as a research assistant for the project.

PreCure is a Danish start-up company which has developed a new technology that connects measurements of muscle activity in everyday life (including occupational employment) with other relevant data which can provide new knowledge for the prevention, development and treatment of musculoskeletal disorders.

The project is supported by Copenhagen Healthtech Solutions (CHS) and represented by CACHET including the EU Regional Development Fund and the Capital Region of Denmark.
