Appointment
Lykke Sylow, who has been part of the University of Copenhagen's promotion programme since 2022, has been found eligible for a professorship by an international evaluation panel and has been appointed professor at BMI with effect from 1 September 2026.
Lykke on her appointment:
"I'm still getting used to the new title, but I'm very happy and proud. It's a great recognition of all the work that everyone in my research group has done over the past many years, together with our excellent collaborators. I'm truly grateful to have a leadership team at the department who have believed in our work and supported me throughout the promotion programme."
