Our group works in interdisciplinary field:
- we develop an in vivo experimental approach based on Raman spectroscopic techniques to study hemoprotein properties and signaling pathways in living cell, isolated heart and brain slices
- we develop an advanced image analysis of laser speckle flowmetry to assess dynamical changes in vascular networks of kidney, retina, and brain
- we develop mechanism-based models of vascular networks
Primary fields of research
- Biophysics
- Renal physiology
- Biophotonics
- Biosimulation
