The following are some of the techniques implemented in the laboratory

  Two-electrode voltage-clamp. Electrophysiological measurements of proteins expressed in Xenopus oocytes.
Langendorff Langendorff experimentation. Electrical and hemodynamic monitoring of explanted beating hearts in a perfusion system.
Arial and ventricular action potential Action potential recordings of beating intact cardiac tissue – human, horse, rat, guinea pig and mouse.
Electrophysiology Patch-clamping of native cardiomyocytes and of culture cells heterologously expressing proteins of interest.

Biochemistry. Western blotting, co-immunoprecipitation, and GST pull-down.
Molecular biology. Plasmid clonings, shRNA evaluation.
