Line Alsøe Barington

I received my MSc degree in Molecular Biomedicine from the University of Copenhagen in 2014. From the end of 2014 to the beginning of 2015, I worked in Mette Rosenkilde’s group as a research assistant, until I began my PhD studies in her lab in June 2015.

The focus of my research is the chemo-attractant receptors, which are involved in the migration and function of cells of the immune system. My goal is to understand how the regulation of such receptors controls B cell function. This knowledge is important for understanding normal B cell biology but also for understanding how deregulated receptor signaling can lead to B cell cancer development.
