Conclusion

In summary, the vision for the CMRM is that it will become an coordinating and integrating body that fill in the gaps in medical research methodology in the drug discovery chain and chain of development of new treatments by intertwining faculty biomedical researchers, clinician scientists and industrial scientists in a triple helix of translation, with the aims of increasing the quality of biomedical and clinical sciences and education, reducing delays in exploitation of knowledge and technology, and facilitating approval of novel drugs for the benefit of patients and society.
