What is the aim of this course?

The central aim of this PhD course is to provide a structured framework for participants to effectively communicate their research with the guidance from experts and fellow students. Participants will work on individual projects (abstract, presentation, flash talk and/or poster) relating to their PhD projects.

Prior to the main event, students will participate in a workshop day to help them improve their individual projects, with focus on communication, as well as the written and visual aspects of their presentation. As a significant social and scientific event, the PhD Seminar aims to both bridge the gap between groups and sections as well as strengthen the spirit of community among the students from the different departments located at SUND.

Overall, this PhD Seminar aims to provide an open and collaborative environment to stimulate networking and new interdisciplinary collaborations between departments. These discussions will benefit research at the Faculty of Medical and Health Sciences, as well as inspire the PhD students to think more innovatively and creatively.
